Coroner Decides That Inquiry Into Canonsburg Disaster Will Be Held at That Place, Visits Canonsburg Again
Coroner James T. Heffran went to Canonsburg again this morning and looked over the situation there, and made some arrangements for the inquest. It was decided to hold it on Friday morning at 9:30 o'clock at Canonsburg.
Coroner Heffran wired to State Factory Inspector Delaney to have some one present a the inquest and to have with them such records as that department may have of the inspection of the Morgan opera house.
Coroner Heffran talked for a short time with Deputy State Factory Inspector Patterson who had come to Canonsburg to inquire into the accident. District Attorney Acheson accompanied the coroner to Canonsburg, and the commonwealth may be represented at the inquest, in case it may appear that there was criminal neglect anywhere. the coroner expects to make a thorough investigation.
