The Daily Notes -- February 11, 1891 Morgan's New Opera House

Is to be dedicated by the famous "Midnight Alarm Company, Friday evening, February 20th. At last we are to have one of the finest theatrical combinations in America in Canonsburg. Manager Morgan being determined to have his house dedicated by only the finest has secured the "Midnight Alarm Company" by paying them a large guarantee. The company are to produce the piece with the entire cast and all scenery and effects used in all the largest cities. They go from here to Cincinnati, playing a week there at Havlin's Theatre, then following Cincinnati they play at St. Louis, Kansas City, Chicago, Milwaukee, Indianapolis, Columbus, Detroit, Pittsburg (at the Bijou Theatre.) Philadelphia, Baltimore, New York, Brooklyn and Boston. Manager Morgan certainly deserves the thanks of all Canonsburg theatre goers for his energy and liberality, and we predict our people will show their gratitude by honoring his new opera house with the largest and most fashionable audience every before assembled in Canonsburg.
