The Daily Notes -- August 28, 1911 CANONSBURG THRONGED WITH NEWSPAPER MEN
The Pittsburg papers of Monday morning featured the Canonsburg horror. The reports are in the main correct, and the illustrations are excellent.
Canonsburg was thronged with newspaper men all day Sunday, one or two of the Pittsburg papers having as many as four men. The Associated Press's day editor at Pittsburg was also here in person to superintend the sending out of the story to the newspapers of North America.
While here the newspaper men made The Notes office their headquarters, as many as twenty-five calling and some of them writing their stories here. The Sunday afternoon edition of The Notes was duly appreciated by them.
