The Daily Notes -- August 29, 1911 UNDERTAKERS PRAISE THE CONDUCT OF BEREAVED
The local funeral directors have been on the go almost constantly since 9 o’clock Saturday night, and their appearance today showed the effect of the strain under which they have labored. They have had the assistance of undertakers from Carnegie, Washington, Thomas station and other places.
The local undertakers praise highly the actions of the afflicted families. The bereaved people have been most reasonable and have allowed the hours of funerals to be set at such time as would be most convenient ### the undertakers, so that it seems it will not be necessary to bring funeral cars here from other towns. This has resulted in keeping down expenses to the families bereaved.
