From The Daily Notes -- August 30, 1911 17 FUNERALS HELD ON DARKEST OF DAYS
Marcella Robinson, 17-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laith Robinson, of 214 Barr street, South Side, was buried in the cemetery of the Payne A.M.E. church, following services conducted by Rev. C.A. McGee, pastor of that congregation. The church was completely filled with mourners and attendance was the greatest at any up to that time. The service began at 1 o'clock and was marked with solemnity.

Two of the dead pupils attended the Third ward school. They were Paul Mastic and Monzella Robinson although the Robinson girl had quit school some time before the close of last term.

At 2 o'clock this afternoon in the A. M. E. church exercises were conducted over the remains of Monzella Robinson, the 17-year-old colored girl who was numbered among Saturday night's victims. The Rev. C. A. McGee, pastor of the church, conducted these services in the presence of a large crowd. Internment was at the Payne cemetery.

Monzella Robinson, aged 17, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Laith Robinson, of 214 Barr street, South Side, will be buried Tuesday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the A. M. E. church. The Rev. C. A. McGee will conduct the services.
