Grand Opening of Morgan's New Opera House

Friday, February 20th,

By The Famous

"MIDNIGHT ALARM CO."

Manager Morgan, with his usual enterprise, has succeeded in securing the world famous "Midnight Alarm Company" to dedicate his new Opera House, Friday evening, February 20th. "The Midnight Alarm" is to well and favorably known to need comment at our hands. Manager Morgan pays them a large guarantee, and they are to produce the play with exactly the same Cast, Scenery and effects that they use in large cities, viz: The great Warf Scene, East River New York City, showing the Brooklyn Bridge, Statue of Liberty, and Brooklyn in the distance, boats, ferries, &c, crossing the river between Brooklyn and New City. The entire scene is illuminated with thousands of electric lights making a picturesque and most beautiful scene.

Act second is an elaborate Typical Farm scene. Act third is the beautiful "Living Statue Clock" act -- but the height of realism is the fourth act, which is an Engine House Set. The "Midnight Alarm" is rung in full view of the audience and the flight of the Hayes Trucks and Fire Engine is one of the most sensational and realistic scenes ever placed upon a stage. With such a company as above and Manager Morgan's new Opera House combined, we predict the largest and most fashionable audience ever assembled before in our town. If you want a seat you had better get it reserved at once as "standing room only" will no doubt be at a premium early in the evening.
